David Delanos - Textile Designer & Fine Artist
David is a practicing textile and print designer, material experimenter, and artist based out of Providence, RI. He has a BFA in Textiles from Rhode Island school of Design, concentrating in print and material exploration.
His work focuses on color, pattern, and material innovation. David's current mediums are industrial knitting, digitally printed fabrics and silk screening, synthetic material combinations, and photography. His interests in queer identities, political science, and physics drives the meaning behind his works. Tactile, fun, and infinitely dynamic; fabrics and concepts for the twenty first century.
David has worked as a Print Designer, Textile Technician, and Production Weaver. He has aspirations of working as a material or color designer alongside a creative team and or company.
